About the show

The world’s greatest snooker players return to York for the UK Championship, one of the biggest events on the sport’s global calendar.

The event runs from November 28th to December 6th at York Barbican and once again the top 16 players, along with 16 who have come through the qualifying rounds, will be battling for the trophy.

This historic event, first staged in 1977, is part of the sport’s Triple Crown Series along with the Masters and the World Championship. It will be televised to an audience of hundreds of millions of fans across the planet on BBC, TNT Sports, WST Play and many other broadcasters.
