John Denton's Midnight Band

John’s music is inspired by the great blues originals: Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, BB King, Howling Wolf and, of course, Robert Johnson. John's music has also developed to incorporate reggae, funk and jazz influences.

There are two strands to what he does, blues with John Denton's Blues Raiders and his own originals with the Midnight Band. John is also part of The Very Grimm Brothers, which is a collaboration with poet and cultural entrepreneur, Adrian Mealing.
