About the show

This celebratory show features the songs of Carole King & James Taylor which takes the audience on a journey through the early days of Carole King’s writing career at the Brill building and her partnership with Gerry Goffin, and her later career and hugely successful collaboration with James Taylor.
The show features Rebecca Turner (keyboard & vocals) who has been described by critics as “the new Carole King”. Rebecca has been delighting audiences with her performances over many years. Her album “Global Soundbite”, recorded with Wendell Richardson (Osibisa) and Bob Thompson, received excellent reviews, as did her single release, Spirit, a beautiful song written by her. Rebecca has performed her own songs at many London venues and is a well-respected session musician.
Alongside Rebecca is an all-star band with Michael Goulding (lead guitar & vocals), Howard Tibble (drums) and Tony Hammond (bass and vocals).
