On St. George’s Day, in the heart of a Wiltshire forest, the mythic, unruly Johnny “Rooster” Byron holds court. To local kids, he’s a legend. To the authorities, he’s a menace. To his son, he’s a question mark. As the village prepares for its summer fair, Byron’s ramshackle woodland camp becomes the battleground for an England caught between ancient magic and modern pressures.

Jerusalem is a wild, darkly funny, and deeply poignant exploration of identity, rebellion, and the stories we cling to.
