For the past 30 years, James Lavelle has been at the forefront of global club culture. Known as much for his hugely successful UNKLE project, Lavelle has been lauded as a highly influential tastemaker and musical curator.

With ‘UNKLE Sounds’ Lavelle dives through deep cuts and club classics from right across the UNKLE-sphere, delivering a project that has seen him traversing the globe- headlining festivals and clubs everywhere from Tokyo to Mexico City- with one of the first audio-visual DJ setups.

Lavelle continues to tour as a DJ, alongside producing albums under his UNKLE moniker, working with a myriad cast of musical collaborators including Mike D, Thom Yorke, Michael Kiwanuka, Mark Lanegan, Massive Attack, Brian Eno and Josh Homme.

With a background in electro and hip-hop, he is the creator of UNKLE and resident DJ at Fabric and head of Mo' Wax Records. His sets are innovative and challenging as well as giving people what they want to hear.
