Join us at The Civic, Trowbridge, this December for a fantastic mixed-bill comedy night, featuring a full lineup of professional comedians and headlined by one of the biggest names in British comedy, Mark Steel.
This is not a solo show. Trowbridge Comedy Club brings you the full comedy club experience, with a host, support acts, and a headline set from Mark Steel, delivering an evening packed with laughter from start to finish.
Mark Steel is one of the UK’s most acclaimed stand-up comedians and broadcasters. A familiar face from Have I Got News For You, Mock the Week, QI, and Would I Lie to You?, he is also the star of the award-winning BBC Radio 4 series Mark Steel’s in Town. Known for his sharp wit, intelligent observations, and brilliantly crafted storytelling, Mark has spent decades entertaining audiences across the UK and beyond.
Alongside Mark’s headline performance, the evening will feature additional comedians and a professional MC, creating the lively, unpredictable atmosphere that makes live comedy clubs so special. Every act brings their own unique style, ensuring a varied night of stand-up with something for everyone.

Mark Steel is a stand-up heavyweight and is also a broadcaster, newspaper columnist and author.
Mark has written and presented many series of Mark Steel's In Town on BBC Radio 4 (new series out soon) and toured it live around the UK. Mark has presented the BAFTA nominated Mark Steel Lectures for BBC2, is a regular on BBC One's Have I Got News For You and Radio 4's The News Quiz. He's also appeared on BBC2's QI and Room 101. Mark has written several acclaimed books, including: Reasons To Be Cheerful and What's Going On and he writes a weekly column for The Independent for which he won Columnist of the Year at the Press Awards in 2015.
