Get an insider’s view of the world of art and valuables from Antiques Roadshow expert Marc Allum – who’ll also cast his expert eye over objects brought along by the audience.
The freelance art and antiques journalist, writer and broadcaster will also bring his expert knowledge and humorous style to bear on a selection of weird and wonderful personal objects taken from his own collection.
A Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries, Marc has been a miscellaneous specialist on the BBC’s Sunday evening favourite 1998, and has appeared on numerous other television and radio programmes. He regularly writes for mainstream magazines and is an author, antiques consultant and lecturer.
With his own unique style, and interests ranging from pre-history to modern design, he’s a self-confessed collectaholic. He has a passion and reputation for divining the unusual: ‘a desire to connect with history through the interpretation and pursuit of objects and their origins’.
This will be an evening guaranteed to keep you enthralled, with fascinating insights into the world of art and antiques.
