Bristol based True Strays started when Joe and James met in a sand pit at play group aged 3 and 4. Their paths were inextricably crossed from that point. They were reunited at secondary school playing guitar and bass in school music concerts and school night trips to see the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Biffy Clyro. By 2012, they were in a band together and haven’t looked back since. True Strays marks an attempt to create honest, liberating blues driven music with an old school feel.
