Jeremy McMurray, whose acclaimed Pocket Jazz Orchestra has been delighting ARC audiences for over ten years, joins forces with Hartlepool’s very own Mick Donnelly and Musicians Unlimited Big Band for an unforgettable evening in the intimate surroundings of ARC, Stockton. Featuring more than twenty outstanding musicians and singers, this promises to be a fabulous celebration of the golden age of jazz and swing.
The programme will span the timeless music of legendary artists and orchestras including Duke Ellington, Stan Kenton, Woody Herman, Count Basie and Glenn Miller, alongside much-loved songs associated with Frank Sinatra and other great vocalists. Expect powerful brass, infectious rhythms, sensational vocals and the unmistakable thrill of hearing a full Big Band performing live and up close.
