The Mick Miller Hour is a rare chance to see one of Britain’s most iconic comedy performers outside his Northern heartland. Mick Miller is a true master of stand‑up — a comedian whose timing, warmth and unmistakable stage presence have made him a favourite for over five decades.
From New Faces in the 70s to The Comedians, Phoenix Nights, Peter Kay’s Car Share, and his legendary appearance on The Royal Variety Performance, Mick’s career spans every era of modern British comedy. His trademark long hair, deadpan delivery and beautifully crafted routines have earned him a reputation as one of the UK’s most distinctive and beloved acts.
This exclusive run with Shaft Of Wit Comedy brings Mick to Stamford Corn Exchange for a the last of three exclusive appearances — a genuine treat for audiences who rarely get the chance to see him live without travelling north.
Each show features an opening support act, curated by Shaft Of Wit to get the evenings entertainment off to the perfect start. There will be one short interval before Mick takes the stage for his celebrated hour of comedy gold.

Comedy has evolved over the years and so has Mick Miller. He got his big break on ITV’s “New Faces” which was the premier talent show of its day. He became a household name when he was a regular on ITV’s “The Comedians” and has continued to work solidly ever since.
Nowadays, he is equally at home entertaining on board cruise ships, performing at Corporate Functions, Theatres, Cabaret Clubs and the new style Comedy Clubs. He also co-stars with Johnny Vegas in the cult BBC comedy show, “Ideal”.
