Olly Olssøn

Despite his Norwegian name, singer-songwriter Olly Olssøn grew up on the English south coast, releasing his debut EP, Footsteps in the Dark, in late 2018. With the piano at the heart of his songwriting, Olssøn draws inspiration from Coldplay, Keane, Tom Odell, and The 1975, blending pop-infused hooks with piano-driven scores, and translating the complexities of navigating modern life and love into songs that are deeply personal yet universally resonant.

Earlier in his career, he has sold out headline shows at Poole Lighthouse and appeared on festival line-ups including Larmer Tree and Boardmasters, a period that hinted at a bright future. But the arrival of COVID stalled his career, leading to nearly eight years of uncertainty and the feeling that life might just be moving on without him.

Now, Olly returns with new music, ready to revive his story and write the next chapter — sharing songs born out of perseverance, hope, and the unwavering desire to connect with the world, ready to draw the line and move forward.
