About the show
An ensemble of puppets are taking Shakespeare's classic the tempest for a comedic spin in this heavily adapted tale of revenge, love and adventure.
Using magic, Prospero the former Duke of Milan has shipwrecked his enemies onto a remote island, with a plan to have his revenge and claim back his Dukedom. However, he must also deal with Caliban plotting his murder, the spirits attempting to unionize, and his beloved daughter meeting men for the first time, a father's worst nightmare!
With the addition of guitar solos, musical numbers and more, The Tempest has never been told quite like this.
Come along to find out if Prospero will still succeed, if a guitar solo beats a sonnet, and if this adaptation fixes everything wrong with the original play.
Not suitable for those with pupaphobia.
