Attila the Stockbroker's early music punk band Barnstormer 1649 are celebrating 30 years together with five Northern dates in April, and Attila has invited his long-time fellow travellers and musical soulmates Blyth Power and punky young rail enthusiasts Indignation Meeting along for the ride.

And to make a packed afternoon even more so he'll be performing some of his latest and most topical poems in the changeovers. Soaring melodies, words which echo down through history, a substantial number of songs about train-spotting and, apparently, at least one poem about circumcision at 67 - but don't let that put you off!

Attila The Stockbroker

Attila is a sharp-tongued, high energy, social surrealist rebel poet and songwriter. His themes are topical, his words hard-hitting, his politics unashamedly radical, but Attila will make you roar with laughter as well as seethe with anger. 'Whether he's ranting a poem or bashing out a song, there is something magnificent about Attila in full flight' (Ian McMillan BBC Radio 4).
