About the show
Lovage is a collective conjuring of the unseen forces we possess. A sonic landscape invoking the powers and wisdom of the roots running across the veil of the seen and unseen.
A sound ritual created with breath, harp, voice, percussion, and gong, summoning the guidance of the wilds of nature, of our ancestors, creating a portal to access the wisdom that lives inside us and that radiates in the collective and the beyond. Deeply inspired by the idea that we are all part of the sound tapestry being woven with the sounds of our bodies, our bodies as vessels of the vibrations of our histories. We act as guides directing the vibrations that resonate from the depths and live in all our bones.
Lovage is a shared act of calling something into being, the vibrations made on this night we carry into the future, and continue to resonate when our bodies have turned to ashes and mushrooms, stone and dust.
Erin Lang is a Canadian?born, Berlin?based vocalist, bassist, harpist, and composer. She is the creative force behind Foundling, a project known for its emotionally resonant blend of ambient, indie folk, dream pop, and experimental music. Her work often explores themes of care, liminality, and presence, bridging song, sound art, and meditative listening. She has toured extensively across Europe and North America, including over 70 performances supporting Agnes Obel at venues such as the Berlin Philharmonie, Le Grand Rex, and Le Trianon in Paris and many others. Following the release of Equilibria (2024), Foundling’s practice has shifted toward more spacious, listening-centred, and multi-sensory concerts that emphasise sustained tone, atmosphere, and the interplay between composed pieces and improvisation.
Jorhito Briseño (Rêyzen) is a sound artist, dj and percussionist working at the intersection of improvisation, somatic practice, and deep listening. His work focuses on vibration, breath, and the physical experience of sound, using acoustic and overtone?rich non-traditional instruments to create immersive sonic environments. He has been working actively in sound and performance, sharing his work through different projects and collaborations and participating in well-known Music Festivals as Garbicz (Poland) , Waking Life (Portugal), Waha Festival (Romania), Come Bye (UK), Kune (Denmark) and many more throughout Europe, and the USA.
