The Henry Girls, sisters Karen, Lorna and Joleen from Co. Donegal are fast becoming one of the most talked about folk/roots acts to come out of Ireland in the last decade, and within a few years have developed a growing international profile from touring in Europe, North America and further afield. The trio of multi-instrumentalists (harp, guitar, fiddle, accordion, guitar, piano and ukulele) and fine close harmonies blend classic traditional Irish music with a hint of Americana and a nod to bluegrass. The internationally acclaimed band present a selection of darkly beautiful music from around the world, from bluegrass murder ballads to gypsy torch songs, dirty blues to soul salvation.
