Calling all English students, teachers, and lovers of classic literature! Dickens Theatre Company’s acclaimed stage adaptation of Robert Louis Stevenson’s Gothic thriller returns to New Wimbledon Theatre in Jan 2027.
London, 1888. A thick Fitzrovia fog cloaks the city. In the shadows, a sinister figure stalks the streets. A young child is brutally attacked. Who is this “sneering Satan” and will he strike again?
Performed by an ensemble cast of just six actors, this fast-paced production brings Stevenson’s dark and dangerous Victorian world vividly to life through inventive storytelling, atmospheric staging and dynamic multi-rolling performance.
