Joe Lycett

Joe Lycett (formerly Hugo Boss) is a hugely talented comedian with an unaffected, relaxed and effortless stage presence. An appealing, engaging and natural performer. His comedy career started off at Manchester University, winning the Chortle Student Comedy Award in 2009. He hosts his own consumer comedy hybrid show for Channel 4 called Joe Lycett’s Got Your Back, as well as presenting BBC Two's The Great British Sewing Bee. 'Imaginative and cheekily subversive comedy... entertainingly mischievous... An intensely charming and talented young comic' (The Guardian) 'Joe Lycett is one of the strongest emerging comedy talents we've seen in a long time. This young man has a huge future' (Time Out) 'A delightfully natural style that builds a real connection with the audience... an accomplished storyteller... Finds brilliance in what could be merely workaday' (Chortle) 'Rising talent Joe Lycett already possesses the confidence and relaxed, homely charm of an old campaigner' (The Times). Joe Lycett was #7 in Ents24's Hardest Working Comedians of 2018 list.

Esther Manito appearing at this event

Esther Manito

After a sold-out, rave-reviewed tour last year, Esther is back - this time embracing the sheer joy of having absolutely no dignity. She’s tried elegance. She’s aimed for sophistication. But somehow, chaos always wins. Because really — how do you keep your poise when you’re juggling kids, aging parents, and the crushing weight of unmet expectations? Following the success of her last show, Hell Hath No Fury, Esther is done pretending. Labeled an “angry woman”? Fine. She’ll own it. Now, she’s leaning in even further — into the mess, the mayhem, and the gloriously undignified truth of it all. From failed attempts at being sexy, sudden hearing loss, and awkward encounters with dodgy drug dealers, to the brutal realities of a waxing session gone sideways — nothing’s off limits. Because when there’s war in the world and family back in Lebanon, there are bigger things to worry about than being a “slagbomb”. **** “Manito skilfully weaves her own personal story with a wider look at gender issues in society” Evening Standard **** “An absolute riot from start to finish” Everything Theatre **** “Effervescent…Incisivley funny’ The Skinny **** “Simply brilliant” Voice **** “Absorbing” One4Review **** Funny Women **** The List

My young ears had never heard language like it.' His comedy aspirations lay dormant until he got a job as a barman at a comedy club in Greenwich, South London. Then in 2004 following some back slapping by those around him, Rich Wilson hit the stage and even amazing himself, hasn't looked back since. 'Highly entertaining' (Time Out) 'Effortlessly funny, smart and filthy. Recommended' (Leicester Mercury) 'He's a very, very funny man' (Frank Skinner).
