Cream Tea with Inspirational Women at Porlock Village Hall

On Saturday 10th October, Porlock will be celebrating International Ada Lovelace Day with its annual “Cream Tea with Inspirational Women”.
The speakers this year will include: Katie Traxton - Former chief communications officer at Formula E Racing Danni Sherrin - Sussex and Surrey Police Dr Jenny Capps - Doctor, farmer and Moorland Mum Liz Gilbey - journalist, writer and critic Cheryl Dennis - BBC reporter.
Cream Tea with Inspirational Women takes place in Porlock Village Hall, starting at 2.30pm. Tickets are £9 and are available (from 20th April) online at https://www.wegottickets.com/event/ (booking fee applies) and from Rosalinde Haw (payment by card or cash) and Porlock Information Centre ( from 20th April) (cash only). Please buy your tickets early, as there will none on the door and the event has sold out every year since it was first held in 2013!
