The performance opens with a brand new devised piece by Doorstep Youth Theatre (ages 14 to 20), set in Vulgaria four years before the Potts family arrive. As the parents of the hidden children try to rebuild their lives after the Baroness’s child ban, it becomes clear that some townspeople may be hiding more than they seem. After the interval, enjoy the much loved musical Chitty Chitty Bang Bang Jr, performed by Doorstep Arts Studio Course groups and featuring young performers aged 7 to 18.
