With its first appearance ever in the UK, Stonks is playing his fifth show of first UK Tour in Oxford on sunday 17th may in Little Bully, Bullingdon, Oxford.
Stonks blends tense post-punk, dark noise, and deconstructed jazz, oscillating between urgency and detachment. Their compositions mix absurdity and anxiety, with saturated textures and grating sounds. Their second EP, Badger on EXAG’ Records, pushes this shifting aesthetic further. The band aims to make both bodies and nerves vibrate while reinventing post-punk’s rules. Their goal: create energetic noise that makes you want to move.
