A Choral Christmas

Celebrate the season at Holy Trinity Church, Oswestry, with a festive evening of music from the acclaimed Fron Male Voice Choir and the Oswestry Youth Orchestra.

Founded in 1947, Fron Male Voice Choir is one of Wales's best-known male voice choirs, known for stirring performances, rich harmony, and a warm connection with audiences wherever they sing. Over the years, the choir has performed across the UK and abroad, released chart-successful recordings, and appeared in television and film projects — yet live performance remains at the heart of everything they do.

Joining them for this special concert is the Oswestry Youth Orchestra, a new ensemble open to young musicians from across Shropshire and the surrounding area. Part of the Forte Performing Arts Academy at the new Grove Performing Arts Centre, Oswestry School, the orchestra gives young players the opportunity to perform regularly, build confidence and develop their musicianship in a supportive and inspiring environment.

The audience will also have the opportunity to join the choir in singing traditional Christmas carols, making this a truly uplifting way to begin the Christmas season.

Whether you come for the powerful sound of the male voice choir, the freshness and enthusiasm of the youth orchestra, or simply to enjoy a memorable festive night out, A Choral Christmas promises music, warmth and Christmas spirit in abundance.
