Hark! The Herald Angels’ Strings

Make it a classy Christmas in the company of the fabulous Highly Strung String Quartet. Formed by Nottingham cellist Sarah Huson-Whyte, this all-female group of conservatoire-trained string players has been dazzling audiences for two decades with its energy and versatility, performing music of all styles with irresistible pizazz.

Intimate, informal and fun, this concert offers a feast of Christmas favourites, gift-wrapped in glorious arrangements, from the Skaters’ Waltz to heartwarming movies including Home Alone and Love Actually, as well as festive chart-toppers from Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé. There will, of course, be carols and Christmas medleys, not forgetting some good old-fashioned audience participation to get you into the seasonal spirit.
