Heather Truesdall weaves emotive cello lines supporting the stinging narratives of Rosanna's songwriting (Puppini Sisters), touching on heartbreak, urban struggle and the search for freedom.

Dave Smith (Robert Plant) adds groove driven rhythms influenced by jazz and hip hop, which provide an irresistible pulse making Lorikeet's music instantly engaging.

In grafting backgrounds of jazz, folk and classical music Lorikeet create an invigorating soundscape where spontaneous creativity and transatlantic influences breathe new life into folk traditions, balancing raw emotion with experimental textures.

Whether performing original compositions or reinterpreting folk classics, Lorikeet creates a sonic experience that resonates deeply - both intimate and expansive, familiar and unexpected.
