The Polis

The Polis are Scotland's one and only Police Tribute act and play an energetic set of over two hours of The Police's best known singles and album tracks. The band do not pretend or try to look like the original members but instead focus their energies on trying to capture the nuances and energy of the original band at their best. The band were originally formed back in 2005, but were plagued by personnel issues with the result that they called things a day at the end of 2007. After a five year hiatus the remaining band members found a new singer and have spent the last year and a half getting their set back into shape.
