This November, as part of the first-ever Dickens Festival North, join us in the newly named Dickens Suite for a sensational, felt-filled evening that celebrates the intersection of Victorian literature and modern pop-culture nostalgia.

In 1852, Charles Dickens himself took to the stage at The Assembly Rooms for a night of theatrical performance. 174 years later, we continue that legacy of storytelling with a very different kind of cast. The Puppet Folk Experience bring their world-class puppetry and infectious musical energy to Newcastle for a unique show in two acts:

Act I: The Greatest Hits – A sincere tribute to The Muppet Show and movies, featuring songs and characters you know and love.

Act II: A Festive Dickens Anchor – A heartwarming homage to The Muppet Christmas Carol. Expect to hear live renditions of classics like “One More Sleep” and “Feels Like Christmas” as the group dons their Victorian finery for a Dickensian finale.
