Northern Hospitality

Northern Hospitality by name. Northern hospitality by nature. Born in Hartlepool and brought together in the North East, Northern Hospitality are Gaz Price, Nico Mouissie, Sean McCloskey and Georgia Smith. Two are North East born and raised, two originally come from South Africa and the USA, but all four now call the North home.

That mix of backgrounds feeds into a sound rooted in alternative rock and grunge: raw guitars, big melodies, honest lyrics and choruses made to be shouted back from a crowd. Think the intensity of Nirvana, the infectious melodies of Green Day and plenty of Northern Hospitality thrown in for good measure.

Slate Label is a five-piece alt-rock outfit from South Shields. The band offer a fusion of local-hero Sam Fender with their favourite bands like Fontaines D.C., Wunderhorse, Queens of the Stone Age and Catfish and the Bottlemen, creating a sound unique to any other band going.
