Robert Seatter: The House of Words

About the show

Robert Seatter was the first poet in residence at Kelmscott Manor, the “heaven on earth” retreat of William Morris and inspiration of many of his most famous designs. The House of Words was the result of that residency, a collection of poems exploring the themes of the house – creativity, love and desire – and Morris’ legacy to present day England, struggling to define itself between nostalgia and hope for the future.

Robert Seatter is a poet, performer, and broadcaster. He is currently Chair of the Poetry Archive.
