About the show

Avoid the early evening rush hour and relax with an hour of live music from up-and-coming performers here at the Stoller Hall.

These hour-long concerts are a chance to catch artists from our Emerging Artists Scheme, which has been generously supported by the Haworth Trust.

All the World’s A Stage: Heroines, Divas & Dreamers

From the Opera House to the West End

Join Soprano Grace O’Malley for a journey through the words of opera, operetta and musical theatre. Exploring the stage’s most memorable Heroines, dazzling divas and hopeful dreamers.

The programme features music by Mozart, Handel, Verdi and Puccini, alongside operetta by Johann Strauss II and Gilbert & Sullivan, before moving to the worlds of Broadway and the Westend with songs by Rodger’s & Hammerstein, Stephen Sondheim, Andrew Lloyd Webber and more.

Grace O’Malley is a British Soprano from Lancashire. She was a chorister at Manchester Cathedral and studied at Chetham’s School of Music and the Junior Royal Northern College of Music before continuing her training at the Royal College of Music and the Guildhall School of Music & Drama.

“A Lancashire lass with a voice ‘big, bold and beautiful enough to bring the operatic world to its knees’.” – Lancashire Life
