A boutique band of four virtuoso musicians, Budapest Café Orchestra present music from all corners of the world in their own unique, fresh and surprising way. From Balkan and Russian traditional music, from artful distillations of Romantic masterworks to soaring Gaelic folk anthems, BCO is an infectious musical experience. forever.
With sixteen albums to their name, Budapest Café Orchestra was established by British composer and violinist Christian Garrick in 2009. BCO combines violin, guitar, accordion, double bass, saz, balalaika, domra and percussion to dazzling effect, creating an astonishing soundscape and aural alchemy characteristic of larger ensembles.

The New Budapest Café Orchestra plays powerful, folk-based music, inspired by Eastern European gypsies. The Café Orchestra are Chris Garrick (violin and darbuka), Eddie Hession (free bass accordion), Kelly Cantlon (double bass) and Adrian Zolotuhin (guitar, saz, balalaika). With impassioned Hungarian Czardas, tender Russian folk melodies and rollicking dances from Romania and Moldavia. 'They will leave you with a grin on your face and rhythm in your feet' (The Times).
