One of the most celebrated and influential guitarists in the history of contemporary music, the legendary guitarist from The Smiths has been an inspiration for legions of string-pluckers ever since the '80s.

He was co-songwriter and guitarist of The Smiths. He has also been a member of Electronic, The The, Modest Mouse and The Cribs, as well as a prolific session musician and now also plays solo shows.

This Manchester outfit blend falsetto vocals with synths, guitars and discordant pop hooks. Quirky singles like 'Photoshop Handsome' have seen comparisons to XTC, Wild Beasts and Django Django, but the band also have a sound all of their own.
