Deep Six Blues

DEEP SIX BLUES are a five-piece Blues and Americana band from Humberside, formed in 2022 by blues aficionado and singer-songwriter Si Vix. Si has recruited members of the local jazz and blues scene to play and record what he calls the ‘Humber Delta blues.’ Deep Six Blues play songs built on spellbinding guitar riffs, driving bass lines, wailing harmonica, and passionate vocals that pay homage to legends like Howlin’ Wolf and Robert Johnson. The band has toured extensively, performing in the UK and Europe, including an appearance at the Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival. They released their first EP, Big River, in 2023, followed by their debut album The Devil’s Hand in April 2024, which made the The Independent Blues Broadcasters Association (IBBA) top 20.
