About the show

Brickwork is kicking off 2026 with the first new Laughs@TheLoft show of the year. On Sunday 1st February, eight of Derry's local comedians will take the stage, performing for a chance to progress to the Ha!Ha!Hawkswell Comedy Award Final in Sligo.

The evening will be hosted by Peter E Davidson (Edinburgh Fringe regular, BBC sketch comedy writer). Last year's Derry heat saw Eamon McElwee win, before going on to take the main prize, setting a high standard for this year's lineup.
