Sparko's Going Back Home

"John B Sparkes - “Sparko” - Dr Feelgood’s original bass player and founding member, is gigging again!

Sparko’s Going Back Home recreates the group’s classic R&B sounds forged on Canvey Island (aka “Oil City”) laced with classic, energetic rock ‘n’ roll!

If you love your Dr Feelgood, well you’re in for a treat. Sparko’s assisted by two “Sons of Oil City” both steeped in the music: Eddie and The Hot Rods’ veteran Warren Kennedy on Guitar with blistering vocals and harmonica from Steve Tolton. Backed by Mat Hector’s thundering talents on drums, from Iggy Pop & Thomas Dolby’s rhythm section."
