The Nutcracker

This festive season, UCB brings Tchaikovsky's timeless ballet The Nutcracker to London in a unique and visually striking production. Inspired by E.T.A. Hoffmann's The Nutcracker and the Mouse King, the story follows Clara and the Nutcracker on an enchanting journey through a realm of snow, dreams and fantasy - from the thrilling battle with the Mouse King to the dazzling Kingdom of Sweets. Classical ballet remains at the heart of the production.

Refined choreography, distinctive costumes and set design, spectacular stage effects and an original lighting design come together to create a vivid theatrical world while preserving the elegance, music and traditions that have made The Nutcracker one of the world's most beloved ballets.

Throughout December 2026, the production will be presented in more than 65 performances across Europe as part of an extensive festive tour, bringing the atmosphere of this beloved seasonal tradition to audiences across the continent - and now to London.
