Queens of the Stone Age emerged from the stoner rock underground of the 1990s to become one of the leading heavy rock bands of the 21st century. The band has its roots in Kyuss, the stoner rock band that Josh Homme led during the early 90's.

Acid Bath began where the Earth ends - deep in the swamp of the Louisiana bayou. Formed in 1991, the band’s sound blended elements of Southern gothic, psychedelic rock, sludge and death metal, with lyrics invoking surreal, pagan and psycho imagery.
