About the show
This performance brings together three unique voices from the London jazz scene. Clowes has a long running duo with Stanley, and the pair have been looking for an opportunity to work with Adewale for some time. Expect an exhilarating exploration of sound and colour, melody, groove, and meditative improvisation. The material will traverse the interests of all three musicians, including some original compositions.
Featuring - Trish Clowes

Jazz saxophonist and composer Trish Clowes has won awards from the Musicians' Benevolent Fund and the PRS for Music Foundation. She released her debut album Tangent in 2010 and received praise for its integrity, luminosity and ambition. In autumn 2010 she toured the UK with her band, generously supported by Jazz Services.
Following the success of Tangent, Trish was recently selected by Jamie Cullum, Gilles Peterson and Jez Nelson to perform on the BBC Introducing stage at Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2011. Her quartet has featured during the Proms Plus Late series at the Royal Albert Hall.
'... one of the most agile and original jugglers of improv and adventurous composition to have appeared in the UK in recent times...' (The Guardian).
