The Teenagers

Formed in the Paris suburbs in 2006, The Teenagers began by making sharp, synth-driven pop songs about boredom, desire and modern disillusionment - mostly for fun. After posting tracks on Myspace, they were quickly signed by Merok Records and XL Recordings, joining a wave of defining indie acts. Between 2007 and 2011, they toured 25 countries and played festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella and Summer Sonic, while their debut album Reality Check became a cult favourite of the blog era.

After years away, the band has found a new audience through the global indie sleaze revival, with over 210 million TikTok plays introducing their music to Gen Z while reconnecting with longtime fans. In 2025, founding members Dorian Dumont and Quentin Delafon began writing again. The result is The Teenagers 2.0: same wit and melodic instinct, now with a sharper, more mature perspective.
