Juelma, SiFi
Juelma, SiFi at The Libra Theatre Cafe, London
About the show
Following a beautiful debut at The House of KOKO, Senses returns for a special evening at The Libra Theatre, continuing its exploration of how we connect through sound, story and shared experience.
Curated by Juelma Isabel, Senses is a multidisciplinary gathering where music, poetry and atmosphere come together to awaken the senses and create meaningful moments of connection. At the heart of each session is live performance, inviting audiences to slow down, listen deeply and immerse themselves in the present.
The evening will feature a live set from Juelma & SiFi, whose music blends folk, jazz and dreamlike storytelling, drawing on their Angolan and Swedish roots. Singing in a mix of English, Portuguese and Kimbundu, Juelma’s evocative vocals are accompanied by SiFi’s rich and textured musicianship, creating a sound that feels both intimate and expansive.
They will be joined by poet Tanica (@psalmist.poet), whose reflective and soul-stirring work explores themes of faith, healing, identity and the human experience. Through spoken word, she invites audiences into moments of honesty, reflection and connection.
Join us for an evening of live music, poetry and artistic expression, where every element is thoughtfully curated to engage the senses and celebrate the power of gathering together.
