Satoshi Tomiie, the mind behind “Tears” with Frankie Knuckles, joins Kuniyuki Takahashi for a rare live session rooted in deep house heritage and forward-thinking sound.
With Tomiie’s jazz and classical training meeting Kuniyuki’s organic, percussion-led approach, the pair reshape cuts like “Dear African Sky” and “Butterfly Effect” in real time.

Japanese DJ and producer with a deep progressive sound. He is both head of Saw Records and also a vital part of the NYC based Def Mix Productions collective. As well as producing highly regarded solo work Tomiie has collaborated widely and is well known for his remixes of such high profile acts as Madonna, U2, Dianna Ross and David Bowie.
