Adrian Quesada's Trio Asesino

Grammy-winning, Oscar-nominated artist Adrian Quesada is best known as co-founder, guitarist and producer of 7-time Grammy-nominated band Black Pumas.

Their 2019 self-titled debut earned a Grammy nomination for Album of the Year, with breakout single 'Colors' also recognised for Record of the Year and Best American Roots Performance - cementing the band’s place at the forefront of modern psychedelic soul.

A lifelong Texan, Quesada’s work moves fluidly through funk, soul, psychedelia and Latin music. In 2022, he released Boleros Psicodélicos, a lush homage to the romantic Latin ballads of the 60s and 70s, alongside the cinematic instrumental project Jaguar Sound.

Having collaborated with Prince, Los Lobos and GZA, he now presents Boleros Psicodélicos II, featuring Cuco, iLe and Angélica Garcia - blending original compositions with reimagined balada classics.
