The Velvet Thunders - these guys have perfected a party playlist set full of absolute banging dance tunes. From crunching, commercial hard rock classics, to indie bangers, funk and soul staples, big hip hop numbers and punk and new wave corkers.
It’s all there to enjoy, with fiery lead guitar, righteous riffola, floor quaking bass and big ass drums. And a superb frontman who really knows how to conduct a party. A superb night out assured!
Those Naughty Lumps - talking of superb frontmen- albeit from a wholly different pop universe! First World War historian Peter Lump is joined upfront by cricketing legend Bobby Lump to sing punk pop and eccentric rock songs about the indelicacies of getting old and still being a Sex God. It’s not all ‘Iggy Pop’s Jacket’ ya know! (Although they do still perform that Zoo Recs new wave classic)
