The Clash vs The Banshees

Punky Reggae Party - as someone said “Punky Reggae Party are an amazing live band, rest assured you’re in for a fantastic evening of great music".

Tonight playing a full on Clash set, which could very well take you on a trip from 1977 to Rock The Casbah. Get aboard, this ain’t no Train In Vain (but you could well hear the song!).

Painted Bird - playing classic Banshees material from across their back catalogue, close yer eyes and think of Juju- ain’t no better Siouxsie homage out there. These guys have the sound absolutely nailed with singer Nancy commanding the stage with an incredibly on point channeling of Sioux. Remarkable.

Tonight is truly not to be missed. Celebrating the music of these two great bands in an iconic venue, Painted Bird and Punky Reggae Party will be playing the Favourite album tracks, B sides and classics of the Banshees and the Clash.

DJ Tony Bugbear hosts his usual We Got Killers Saturday nite session. Expect more punk, more reggae and off til 2am in whatever groovy direction your dancing feet command.
