AKA The Syndicate - this superb band will certainly please fans of The Specials and The Selecter, and have a real depth and breadth to their music, operating as it does in that sweet spot between reggae and new wave as exemplified by The Ruts and The Clash. And needless to say a guaranteed workout for your dancing feet is assured.
Natural Right - The Beat and Bob Marley resonate here, and the poppy, melodic end of 2 -Tone too, with a lilting, vibey sound that is enchanting, and of course gets ya moving.
Talking of moving, start as you mean to go on…do not miss opening act The Marching SKAletons, all done up in their boneyard finery, yomping ahead with their Skatalites inspired brassy party sounds.

AKA The Syndicate are a collective of musicians from a variety of ska, reggae & punk bands – who all have a common goal - to create new and exciting original music!
They released their self-titled debut album, full of original ska, reggae and punk influenced music in 2021 which saw one song stand out, capturing the zeitgeist of the times. In response, the group pieced together a remote music video, an anthem of isolation titled 'Hands Up (Who's Coming With me) which was followed by the moody " Two sides of the City"
Their debut album was described by Scootering Magazine as “A pop-tinged reggae album that brings to mind a wide variety of other bands, from Madness at their most successful to very early UB40, and maybe even a hint of No Doubt thrown in for good measure."
Their second album 'It's Our World' was released in 2023 to rave reviews and the same can be described to their live shows, but the only way to know this is buy a ticket and catch AKA The Syndicate live
