Guitarist and composer Jonny Phillips’ sextet combines Brazilian rhythms, modal jazz, art rock and an African blues aesthetic.

Quirky contemporary drum and percussion grooves contrast with spacious ambient textures, open improvisations and a distinctive sense of melody.
