Founded in 2013 by Marcio da Silva, Ensemble OrQuesta is the reunion of artists dedicated to performing classical music in all its diversity to the highest standard.
It is the orchestra in residence at Woodhouse Opera Festival, Grange Choral Society and Waltham Singers having also performed with the Heathfield Choral Society.
Several editions of opera academies in partnership with Woodhouse Opera have been organized since 2014. They have given a great number of singers from all over the world the opportunity of performing full roles in fully staged productions with orchestral accompaniment. These productions have gained great critical acclaim and an outstanding reputation as an international young artist programme.
