1st February 1587. Mary, Queen of Scots, remains imprisoned in Fotheringhay castle. Unbeknownst to her, Queen Elizabeth I has signed her death warrant. Haunted by her past, she has only eight days left to live, grappling with her inner demons and remaining devoted to her faith.
