Choral works both summery and sombre - by Benjamin Britten, John Tavener, Richard Rodney Bennett, John Rutter, George Gershwin and more.

Join the Joyful Company of Singers, one of the UK's leading amateur chamber choirs for a programme of choral works that include Benjamin Britten's Five Flower Songs and a celebration of the 80th birthday of composer and a JCS Vice-President, Giles Swayne.

Other featured composers are Richard Rodney Bennett, Zoe Dixon, George Gershwin, Jonathan Lane, John Rutter, John Tavener and Vincent Youmans.

JCS will be joined in performance by Philippa Davies (Flute) and Ivan Rodriguez Deb (Cello).

Pre-concert talk at 6:30pm by composer and JCS Vice-President Giles Swayne.
