Jamie T

Nicknamed a "one man Arctic Monkey'", Jamie Alexander Treays, aka Jamie T, is the South London singer-songwriter who straddles the line between indie guitars, punk and rap. Canvas Magazine have described him as sounding "like the b**tard lovechild of Billy Bragg and Mike Skinner doing his best Joe Strummer impression".

He picked up the prestigious 'Best Solo Artist' NME award in both 2007 and 2010, then suddenly went rather quiet. 2014 saw his long-awaited return and third album, Carry On The Grudge. In 2016 he released his fourth album, Trick, the kind of brave and eclectic rock/punk/reggae/rap/pop celebration that only Jamie T could make. After a 6 year absence, his 2022 release, The Theory of Whatever, became his first UK number one album.
