The Apology is an act of theatrical imagination: a ritual in which V conjures her dead father to confront the abuse he inflicted on her as a child.

Written by V (formerly known as Eve Ensler, Tony and Obie Award-winning writer of The Vagina Monologues), The Apology stars Emmy Award-winner Tobias Menzies (The Crown) alongside V herself and a choral ensemble.

Complicité's artistic director Simon McBurney (The Encounter, Drive Your Plow Over the Bones of the Dead, Mnemonic) directs this world premiere, bringing her extraordinary work to the stage.
