Late Night Jazz: Tamar Osborn

Saxophonist Tamar Osborn is a composer, band leader and session musician known for her innovative approach and versatility across genres.

This performance celebrates the release of Varier: Berlin, the first instalment of Tamar Osborn’s Varier album cycle, and the first release under her own name.

Centred around the concepts and rituals of improvisation, collaboration and music as a tool for healing, Varier is a project drawn from two recording sessions with two different ensembles in two different cities - Berlin and London. Varier: Berlin is the first to be released and sees Tamar further develop her approach to collaboration, playing alongside some of the very best musicians in the global jazz/improvised scene.
